 Don was hired by Les Goldsborough, Jr. in April of 1987. It was a perfect match as Les was looking to establish a perpetuation plan for the agency and Don wanted to move from the company to the agency side of the business. The formal agreement for the change of ownership was instituted in February 1994. Don enjoys golf, fishing and flying although his wife Ginny, daughters Caroline and Hannah, and son Andrew keep him busy. Don is a graduate of the Citadel and Loyola College (MBA) and holds the Certified Insurance Counselor designation.

Lauretta has been with L.E. Goldsborough & Son, Inc. since May of 1992 when we convinced her to come with us part time to help manage the business insurance clients. She had taken a break from an already prosperous career with both insurance companies and independent agencies. Her skills in rating, marketing, policy language, and ability to work well with clients quickly convinced us to keep her. A few months later, Lauretta came on full time and has been invaluable ever since.
She is currently our Commercial Risk Manager whose responsibilities include the marketing, quoting and placing of our new accounts as well as some specific current clients in specialized fields. Lauretta holds the Certified Insurance Counselor designation and one day hopes to obtain her Life Insurance license.
Lauretta is renovating her home in Curtis Bay after moving back there from a glorious albeit too short adventure living on a Buffalo Farm in Harford County and is happily re-adjusting to city life. When she is not at the theatre, watching NASCAR racing, Football, gardening or planning the next Goldsborough social event, she is enjoying her three grown children and four grandchildren. She hopes to get back into making porcelain dolls with her grand-daughter who is currently living with her and bugging her daily to do so as well disciplining herself to get into a daily exercise regimen. Loving music and dancing, another goal is to take dance lessons, something she had always wanted to do with her late husband.

 Terri has been in the insurance industry for more than 30 years, beginning with GEICO Insurance Company. She has been with L.E. Goldsborough now for over 3 years. Her area of specialization and her talents have always been in the security and protection of individuals and families. When the agency re-structured the personal and family insurance department, look for the perfect fit of someone who had a good grasp of managing a family risk program, Terri fit the bill! Terri and her husband, Jack (also an independent insurance agent) live in Fallston with their son Michael. Michael attends Calvert Hall, and Terri spends a lot of her spare time volunteering there and at the local recreation center where Michael is involved in sports year round.

 Kathy started working for L.E. Goldsborough part-time in November of 1999 after working for 12 years as a ratings specialist with Ohio Casualty. In February 2000, Kathy became full-time and immersed herself in the agency side of the business. During the seven years she has been here, she has obtained the Certified Insurance Service Representative (CISR) designation. When not in the office, Kathy keeps busy with her husband, Elmer, their children (two boys and a girl), and Scouts.

 Shelley and Don have known each other since they worked together back in the early 80’s at Montgomery Mutual. She “took the leap” back to the agency side of the insurance business 5 years ago. Shelley’s experience in the industry ranges from farm underwriter to claims adjusting to management. Shelley’s responsibilities are overall management of the office and its personnel. When she is not busy with her four grandkids, she and her husband Charlie are usually antiquing or traveling.
